Project Description
The irony of using the only place where you can be yourself to become the norm.
When exploring cyberfeminism, one can easily lose track of gender in its entirety. On the internet, you’re not bound to any concrete identity. When you really think about it, you’re only a bunch of zeros and ones. This was something inexplicably important to me when I was growing up.
Important to me, but still sort of ironic and funny. If the online world is your video game, why would I choose a male avatar? I suppose it’s because I’ve always wanted to be Just Some Guy, because that gives you power.
In the future, this project may evolve into a further developed animation or short film, following the narrative of a genderqueer identity in the vast cyber world.
